Visiting on crew training duties, this aircraft had been acquired by Swissair a few days previously and was flying with a Swissair callsign.

Not yet named, fairly recent repaint following the British Caledonian takeover. The crest on the fin is already beginning to deteriorate.

Delivered to Alitalia as I-DYNO in 1973. To McDonnell-Douglas as N3878F in 1982 then to Continental Airlines in 1984. Reregistered as N14063 in 1985. Withdrawn from use at Greenwood, MS in 2002 and parted out. Remains still there in 2007.

Seen here with CP Air just one year after delivery, it should later be withdrawn from service with Canadian after only 19 years. Stored at Marana, it was broken up in 2004.

Delivered to National as N82NA in 1975. Merged into Pan Am in 1980. To American as N141AA in 1984 then to Transaero in 1996, Hawaiian in 1999 and Ghana Airways as 9G-ANE in 2003. Withdrawn from use at Marana, AZ in 2004. Allocated registration N141AA in 2005. Scrapped in 2007.

Later, this particular aircraft had the honour to perform the very last American Airlines DC-10 service as N143AA, on 21/NOV/00. The plane was acquired by Omni thereafter for part-out at Tulsa in 2001.

Delivered to Air New Zealand as ZK-NZN in 1974. To Western Airlines as N821L in 1981 then to Air Pacific in 1983 and American Airlines N144AA in 1985. Withdrawn from use at Mojave, CA in 2000 and scrapped in 2003.

Delivered to Air Zaire as 9Q-CLI in 1973. Reregistered as F-OGQC in 1986 then back to 9Q-CLI in 1988. Stored at Tel Aviv around 1992 and scrapped in 2002.

This DC-10, previously LN-RKA of SAS, was leased by Swissair in September 1989, and had a non-standard white lower fuselage.

CP Air's first DC-10 was delivered March 27, 1979 but left soon after registered PP-VMO for a one year lease to Varig Airlines (April 1979 - April 1980). Pictured with interim Canadian titles (which replaced interim Canadian Pacific titles) before a full re-painting. When Air Canada bought Canadian in 2000, the DC-10s were among the first aircraft disposed of. C-GCPC was converted to a freighter and stored at Goodyear, AZ 2000 - 2003 before leased to Centurion Air Cargo 2005 - 07 as N304SP. Last with Master Top Airlines (PR-MTC) from April 2007 until stored at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2011.

Basic Airtours International colours
