Loch Torridon was delivered to British Caledonian Airways on April 30, 1980. It was christened Bennmoor Forest when BCal merged with British Airways in 1988. Leased to Caledonian AIrways (1993 - 95) reverting to it's original name, the aircraft it was retired by British Airways in 1999. Converted to a freighter (N47816), it has been leased to Emery Worldwide Airlines, Omni Air International (N279AX) and Centurion Cargo. Stored at Orlando - Sanford International airport in 2009 and registration cancelled in 2013, it's visible on satellite maps near the fire station at the time of uploading.

Originally delivered Apr 1980 to British Caledonian as G-BHDH. Later transferred to British Airways. Also operated with Emery Worldwide as N47816 and Omni Air International as N279AX. Joined Centurion Jan 2004. Retired May 2009. Broken up a few years later.

Delivered new to British Caledonian 30th Apr 1980 and merged into British Airways Apr 1988. Operated by Caledonian Airways May 1993-Nov 1995. Sold as N47816 15th Nov 1999 for freighter conversion.

As the BA DC 10s were Gatwick based it was quite unusual to see one at Heathrow, this was the only shot I have of one there.
