In Jan 1953 this old B-25C (ex USAAF 41-13251) was acquired by Howard Hughes's Hughes Tool Co., which had it converted it for executive use. It was fitted with rear doors, a bathroom and large bed, possibly for Mr. Hughes himself. It was wfu in the late 1950s and stored at Culver City, CA. In Jul 1974 they donated it to the museum, then still named the Antelope Valley Aero Museum. The museum closed in Jun 2015, and the B-25 was sold to San Simeon Air. It was dismantled in late 2015, and the forward and center fuselage was trucked to Breckenridge, TX for restoration. The aft fuselage, wings, engines and other parts were trucked to Nut Tree Airport at Vacaville, CA. The current status of this restoration project is unclear.

In Netherlands East Indies colors when operating with 18 (NEI) Sq within the RAAF. Now operated by the Duke of Brabant Air Force.

Acquired by Tony Osborne for the nascent British Historic Aircraft Museum and moved to Southend later in 1966.

Tucked in the corner behind a North American T-6G Texan (N3931Y, msn 168-415), North American B-25G (later TB-25N) Mitchell "Apache Princess" takes a well-deserved rest at the Fantasy of Flight Museum after a long flying career. Initially operated as 43-28059 with the USAAC/USAAF, she was sold to the civilian market and registered as N9857C. Subsequent registrations include C-GTTM, N26795, and the current registration, N1943J. (data from Joe Baugher's site)

Delivered to the USAAF as 43-4432 in 1943. To NL90399 in 1947, N90399 in 1948 and N10V in 1952. Operated by the EAA from 1972.

This Mitchell was once operated by Howard Hughes and the colour scheme looks a bit like TWA.
