First flight at Long Beach July 7th 1976 and delivered to SAS July 29th 1976 as OY-KGR "Holger Viking". Repainted to these new SAS colours in 1983/84, and OY-KGR became the only DC-9 to be repainted again in April 1999. H67337 is pictured touching down on rw08R after the flight from Burgas (BOJ). This Mad Dog was originally delivered to ATI - Aero Trasporti Italiani as I-DACP in September 1990 and went on to fly with Alitalia for many years. The plane joined Bulgarian Air Chater in May 2010 with the company rebranding as European Air Charter in April 2021. A month or so after this picture was taken the plane was permanently wfu and is now stored at Varna (VAR).

October 1990 in Finnair. February 2005 becomes N905TA as bought by Wells Fargo Bank/AerCo Ltd. November 2005 to Falcon Express which leased it to Aeropostal Alas de Venezuela 2005-2008 and U.S. Justice Prisoner & Alien Transportation System 2008. November 2009 becomes ZS-TOG. WFU in November 13, 2012 damaged when taking off from Johannesburg-O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB/FAOR).

Arriving Fornebu in the November failing light, SE-DAW was delivered new to SAS in September 1974 serving with the airline until January 2001. Later to N329FV and scrapped at Roswell, NM during around 2006-2007.

March 30th 1988 OY-CTD rr, "Stavar Viking". December 14th 1990 N601AP Hawaiian Airlines, fleet no 98 "Hana". August 19th 2201 wfu and stored at Mojave from September 4th 2001. Broken up there 2004. OY-CTD was the third ex SR DC-9-51s leased in by SAS to cope with delayed deliveries of the new MD-80 fleet. Seen taxing out for a rwy 24 departure to CPH. Scanned from a slide

First flight November 4th 1974, and delivered new to SAS November 22nd 1974 as OY-KGP "Torbern Viking" and as one of the last DC-9-41s delivered that year to replace Caravelles and DC-9-21 on domestic flights with config Y122. 1984 repainted to the new SAS colours as seen on this photo 14 years later.. July 22nd wfu and stored at at ENGM. August 21st 2002 N41XS rr and stored at Roswell, broken up there in 2003. Seen after purshback from gate 28, LN-TUB is seen at gate 27, LN-RMN at gate 25, LN-BUG at gate 23 and LN-BRQ at gate 21. Busy morning ca 9am as ususal the day before FBU was closed.
