Too late to participate in D Day, the aircraft distinguished itself later during the Berlin Airlift where it received it's name. Pictured on display prior to the next day's departure to Gander, Canada as part of a 15 aircraft C-47 group to fly across the Atlantic to for the D Day 75th anniversary.
