At Duxford for the filming of Memphis Belle. Delivered to the USAAF as 42-29782. Sold as N6015V in 1953. Registered as N17W in 1954, fitted with a cargo door and converted to a sprayer. Converted to a fire bomber in 1960. Back to military configuration for filiming in 1966. To the Museum of Flight, Boeing Field, Seattle, WA in 1990.

Taxiing for a Runway 31 departure from Prestwick. Arriving in the UK, in new military markings, for the filming of "Memphis Belle". Built at Seattle, WA as 42-29782 for the USAAF. In 1945 became a war memorial in the City of Stuttgart, Arkansas. Reactivated as N6015V in 1953. Converted as aerial sprayer N17W in 1954. Further converted to a fire bomber in 1960. Used in the movies "1000 Plane Raid" in 1968 and "Tora! Tora! Tora!" in 1969. Acquired by the Museum of Flight Foundation, Seattle, WA in 1990 and authentically restored.

Now standing in front of the Museum of Flight as a magnificent, quasi gate guard.
