Taxiing for a Runway 31 departure from Prestwick. Arriving in the UK, in new military markings, for the filming of "Memphis Belle". Built at Seattle, WA as 42-29782 for the USAAF. In 1945 became a war memorial in the City of Stuttgart, Arkansas. Reactivated as N6015V in 1953. Converted as aerial sprayer N17W in 1954. Further converted to a fire bomber in 1960. Used in the movies "1000 Plane Raid" in 1968 and "Tora! Tora! Tora!" in 1969. Acquired by the Museum of Flight Foundation, Seattle, WA in 1990 and authentically restored.
