Registration cancelled 04 Jun 2013 and in 2020 was in the process of being converted into a house.

How is this for an executive aircraft ! Delivered new to KLM as PH-DSR on 10 Dec 1958. To Interpublic Corp as N904ME on 25 Oct 1962. To General American Oil Corp on 12Jan 1968. To Pyramid Oil Co on 05 Mar 1973 and reregistered to N777EA on 29 Jan 1974. Last flight on 21 Feb 1976 to Goodyear and stored. Still there in 2023.

Seen during a ramp tour at Luke AFB. Owned by the WGAF these F-104's were operated by the 69th TFTS - 58th TFTW of the USAF. German F-104 training was done in Arizona where the weather was so much better than in Western Europe. This aircraft was built by Lockheed in 1961. Carried WGAF serials KF+102, DA+321, BG+122 and 20+21. Transferred to the USAF as 63-13243 in 1963. In 1982 the aircraft starred in the movie 'The Right Stuff'. Sold to the USAF on 19 Jul 1983. Later transferred to the Republic of China Air Force as 4368. Crashed in a fatal accident on 24 Mar 1990 in a collision with 4385.

I cannot find much info on this aircraft. Last sighting Dec 1982. No record of it at AMARC.

Evening view at the old Terminal 2 terrace. Three Boeing 727's in view. One TWA and two Continental. Delivered new to TWA as N845TW on 28 Oct 1964. Sold to US Jet Services in Mar 1989 for spares. Later scrapped.

Seen stored at Marana. Delivered new to Eastern Airlines as N8606 on 26 April 1960. To Air Spain as EC-CAM from June 72 to March 76 when it repossessed by Eastern as N8606 and stored at Marana. Broken up in 1978 so presumably not long after this photo was taken.

Seen stored in basic Delta Air Lines livery where it flew as N8814E. She carries registration N900NW but this was not taken up and N8814E was still the valid registration. Delivered new to Delta Air Lines as N8814E on 14 July 1962. To Transexecutive as N900NW on 08 November 1974 but registration ntu. WFU and stored at Mojave in 1980. Broken up in Dec 2000.

To Cape Atlantic Air on 13 Oct 1995. To Sun Air in May 1996. To Glider Ltd as RL-GPX on 23Feb 1998. Noted WFU Polokwane 27 Apr 2010 and broken up later in 2010.

Visiting on the main operational ramp at DM. From VMA-124 'Checkerboards" This was a USMC reserve squadron which was decommissioned on 19 Jun 1999. The squadron was the first Marine squadron to fly the F4U Corsair. This aircraft was originally designated as an A4D-5. Crashed on take off at NAS Memphis, TN on 18 Sep 1983. Also in the picture are 149651 c/n 12976 and 151087 c/n 13257.

Seen visiting on the main operational ramp at DM. 68-15105 AH-1G loaned to the USMC. BuNo 157216 was assigned on paper but not actually carried on the aircraft. Later returned to the Army and converted to an AH-1S. Last noted stored at Fort Drum, NY on 21 May 2001. To the right the other Cobra is 68-17070 c/n 20798, BuNo assigned but not carried is 157235. Returned to the Army and converted to an AH-1S then to an AH-1F. Stored at Ft Drum, NY on 21 May 2001 and later moved Decatur, MI as a memorial marked as 15686.

Operated by the 107th TFS - 127th, TFW Michigan ANG based at Selfridge AFB, MI. Just arrived on the main operational ramp at DM on its way into storage at MASDC. Official arrival date is 16 Oct 1978 and allocated inventory code FE408. On 31 Jan 1989 it departed to Tracor Flight Systems at Mojave CA for conversion to a QF-100F. Conversion number 373. W/O on 12 Sep 1989 when it was shot down by an AIM-9M missile.
