Resorts International Airline (RIA) acquired three 24-pax S-61Ns from Greenlandair and launched shuttle service for gamblers between New York City's West 30th St heliport and Atlantic City's Steel Pier heliport in September in 1984. This 1972 model S-61N, N3984C (ex-OY-HAO) was photographed at Montreal-Dorval on its ferry flight from Greenland to the USA. It became N223RA. Later flown by Trump Air, VIH Group & Cougar Helicopters (C-FTIG) and Air Amazonia (PR-HRU). It was retrieved from Brazil and is now flown by Helicarrier Inc. (C-FIZA) of Quebec on contracts in Canada, the US and Australia.

Originally part of the Transport Canada fleet as C-FDOH and arrived by truck four days ago wrapped in white plastic.

On 1 June 1999 while flying in the Bay of Bengal off Chittagong the helicopter struck the flightdeck nets during unauthorised high speed pass over RFA Fort Grange. Ditched and sank. The three crew and four passengers were rescued. The First Pilot had vacated his seat for a ships officer and so was unable to supervise or take control. Aircraft was not recovered.

This Coulson Aircrane Sikorsky S-61N, C-FMAY was photographed from Bell JetRanger C-GXOH while logging red cedar at Torquart Bay on the west coast of Vancouver Island in February 2014. It previously flew with Court Helicopters in South Africa as ZS-HGU before joining the Coulson fleet in Feb. 1989 for heli-logging use. Over the past 33 year the aircraft has operated in Canada, the United States and Australia on firefighting contracts when not logging and was leased to Canadian Helicopters between Nov. 2010 - Jan. 2013. It went to Coulson Aviation (USA) in June 2017 as N161CG.
