Resorts International Airline (RIA) acquired three 24-pax S-61Ns from Greenlandair and launched shuttle service for gamblers between New York City's West 30th St heliport and Atlantic City's Steel Pier heliport in September in 1984. This 1972 model S-61N, N3984C (ex-OY-HAO) was photographed at Montreal-Dorval on its ferry flight from Greenland to the USA. It became N223RA. Later flown by Trump Air, VIH Group & Cougar Helicopters (C-FTIG) and Air Amazonia (PR-HRU). It was retrieved from Brazil and is now flown by Helicarrier Inc. (C-FIZA) of Quebec on contracts in Canada, the US and Australia. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I. Swartz, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
