This Broussard is giving mixed signals. Delivered to the French AF on 31 January 1957, it was allocated callsign F-SCCB and flew with the last two letters of that as code CB on the fuselage. But traces of another code, HM, are also visible, resulting in spurious codes "CM" on this side and "CBHM" on the other. Serial 24 is still vaguely visible at the top of the fins. This aircraft was last noted at this location in May 2011 and had disappeared by May 2012. Given its poor condition by 2009, it was probably scrapped.

Air France donated this Caravelle to the Lyon-Satolas airport authorities on 19 June 1979, and for many years the aircraft was on display here with "Aéroport International de Satolas" titles on an all-white fuselage, and with the airport's logo on the fin. By 2005 it had been transferred to the airport fire services, and it became the training object seen here. The Caravelle was eventually broken up on 12 August 2010, after having spent more than 30 years at this airport.

This is ex French Air Force N° 148, withdrawn from use on 4 June 1985. It was acquired by Association Support Air, and registration F-EURO reserved on 25 May 1988. Rolled-out in these European colours at Paris-Orly on 8 Jun 1988, and flown to Paris-Le Bourget that same month and parked. In Oct 1989 it received a permit to fly for film work at Tavaux-Dole, but it didn't fly much there, if at all. In early 1993 the Noratlas was loaned to Association Air Memorial, and later that year it stranded here at Courlaoux airport, reportedly after engine trouble. It has a "Marriott" sticker on the main gear door and "Decoré par Air France" in small print on the left fin. The Noratlas would never leave again and was eventually broken up in June 2013.

This Grasshopper was built in April 1944 and delivered to the USAAF on 1 May 1944 as 43-30510. It was immediately shipped to the UK, where it arrived for assembly on 25 May 1944. On 3 June it was ready for duty, just in time for D-Day. After the war it became OO-REA on 30 July 1946, then F-BCPN on 31 March 1947, having carried that registration ever since. In 1992 the aircraft received the markings seen here, those of the 1ère Armée Française "Rhin et Danube". Two years before this photo was taken, on 16 March 2007, it was registered to Frédéric Laisney, who still owned it by 2019.

This very nice but strangely marked Beech 18 is ex French Air Force 447099, later 099. It arrived in the museum in 1986, presumably from Châteaudun where it had been stored since it was withdrawn from use in 1969. By 2008 it had been painted in these markings, which appear to be based on those carried by Beech D18S ZK-TEX "447506" c/n A-989 in 2004. It carries a small "Bug Smasher" nose art.

Preserved at a roundabout near Chièvres airbase, wearing code "7J-B" of the personal aircraft of 7 Smaldeel's commanding officer at the time, Capt. Corbeel. This aircraft, which never actually carried this code during its operational life, was taken on charge in April 1958. It was struck off charge only four years later, in June 1962. The aircraft was later displayed at Brustem airbase, and went into storage when that base closed in 1996. The Hunter was restored to display condition in 2006 and shortly thereafter placed on display as seen here.

This DC-4 was seized at Basel in 1962/1963, and illegally flown to Brussels on 14 June 1963 with fake registration N2894C, where it was seized again. It remained stored there until bought by Rudy Hannecaert in July 1967 and trucked to Geraardsbergen (Grammont), Belgium, with the intention of using it as a bar. The bar never opened and in May 1971 the aircraft was taken over by Armand Coessens, dismantled again and trucked from Geraardsbergen to the nearby airfield at Overboelare, for use as a clubhouse and bar for the local flying club. By 2001 it was no longer in use as such, but it remained there "preserved" in the appaling condition seen here, still as N2894C and with faded Trans Atlantic Airlines titles still visible.
