Sold to Balair as HB-AAN in 1958 and restored as G-AIVF to Air Ferry 14 Feb.1963. Converted to Mk.3B freighter April 1963. To Invicta Airways 14 April 1966 and reverted to Mk.1B May 1967. Subsequently scrapped at Manston and cancelled 3 Feb.1969 as WFU.

Cancelled 3 Nov.1954 on sale to Trek Airways as ZS-DKI. Restored as G-AHOW 31 July 1958 and converted to Mk.1 Aug. 1960. Registered to Air Ferry at Manston 10 Apr.1964 and fitted with a large freight door Feb.1965. To Invicta Airways 21 Nov.1966. At the date of this photo it still carried the Air Ferry logo on the fin although that airline's name had been painted out. It was later scrapped at Manston and was cancelled 3 Feb.1969 as WFU.

First flew 19 August 1947 as VL231 and transferred for service in Woomera, Australia, 31 March 1948. To RAAF as A82-1 but reverted to VL231. Registered G-AOCH 13 May 1955, to Germany as D-AMOR for LTU Feb.1957, later D-BABY March 1958. Restored to Air Ferry as G-AOCH 7 October 1963, to Invicta Airways 14 April 1966. Scrapped at Manston with C.of A. expired 7 July 1968. Cancelled 3 February 1969 as Withdrawn from Use.

First flew 12 Sept.1947. Operated initially as G-AJBR by BEA and later BKS Air Transport. Sold to Deutsche Flugdienst 1957 as D-AHAF, reregistered D-BONE 11 March 1958. Registered to Condor Flugdienst 29 Nov.1961 and operated Lufthansa Cargo flights. Cancelled 10 April 1964 and sold to Autair, who stored it at Biggin Hill initially before moving it to Luton 22 June 1964, where it was scrapped December 1964.

First flew 9 January 1950 and delivered 8 February 1950. At the time of this event it was serving with the Metropolitan Communications Squadron at Northolt. Struck off charge 14 January 1969 and subsequently destroyed in an arson attack at Sunderland 24 January 1997.

in late summer 1979 this Viking arrived in parts from the Netherlands in a pitiful condition, but was soon rebuilt and cleaned up for static display in the local Air Classic Museum. Name "Marinus van Meel" can still be read on the nose.

Vikings G-AJDI and G-AJBY, Viscounts G-AMNI and G-AMOF, and an Airspeed Ambassador. Previously Volatile and Vitality, these Vikings were renamed Lord Keith and Lord Torrington in the 'Admiral Class', although it says 'Viking Class' on Lord Keith's nose here.
