This 1985-model Metro went first to Pioneer Airlines as N2680V. In 1988 it was leased to Wings West Airlines, who re-registered it as N346AE in 1990. In March 1993 it was returned to the leasing company and later that year was sold in Australia, becoming VH-SSW on 15 December with Newcastle Aviation. It went to Pel-Air Express in December 1994, but was not re-registered until February 2002. This aircraft is actually VH-EER(4) - number 3 also being a Metro, just to make things confusing! Retired now.

This Tri-Pacer was built in March 1956 and registered new as N4500A. It was completely rebuilt in 1989, but cancelled on 23 March 1990 and exported to Australia where it became VH-NLA on 4 September. It spent some time in the Melbourne area before moving to Alice Springs in 2001. In 2003 it moved back to Kyneton where it currently resides in the hands of my mate Gleeso. Seen here at Langwell for breakfast on the way home from the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's Auster Rally.

This beautifully restored Bird Dog even has the smoke marker rocket tubes beneath its wings. It's painted in attractive South Vietnamese Air Force markings. Originally USAF 51-12471.

It has been a long-time resident at Tyabb and is regularly seen at airshows and fly-ins throughout south-eastern Australia. This was the first Chipmunk registered in Australia, being imported for DHA in 1947 as VH-BFT. In 1948 it was loaned to the RAAF and the following year sold to the Newcastle Aero Club. Re-reg VH-RNG when the Club got the prefix 'Royal' in 1953. In 1959 re-reg to VH-BBF, then VH-MCC a few months later. Withdrawn for rebuild 1994 - first post-restoration flight on 15 Dec 2010. This aircraft is actually a hybrid. When VH-ALI, ex cn DHA436/A17-394, was withdrawn from service in 1959, Airwork P/L at Archerfield combined major parts with other Tigers and re-registered the re-built aircraft using their own cn as VH-AWH. It was later re-registered again as VH-SNJ, then VH-IVN. It was acquired by manufacturer De Havilland Australia and rebuilt again, being re-registered VH-DHV. Still owned by DHA but operated by HARS.
