On 19 May 1995 it was wrecked landing on Obukowin Lake/MB and was cancelled from the register shortly after. In 2022 it is on rebuild at Calgary/AB and registered to Jim Hrymack Air Shows Inc. The fact that the PZL engine gives 150 more horsepower over the original conjures up images of the rebuilt aircraft flying loops and hammerhead stalls at airshows.

Originally delivered to the Cuban Air Force as a piston Beaver and later converted to turbo-power with a Garrett engine instead of the PT6 used in other versions. This one, owned by the US Dept of Interior in Alaska, seems to be the only example. No wonder! Even though it out-performs the PT6 version, who would want such an ugly aircraft?
