One of two Dash 8s used by Transport Canada for flight inspection of navigation and calibration of surveillance equipment. The aircraft, along with two similarly equipped Canadair Challengers were transferred to Nav Canada when Canada's ATC system was privatized in 1996. The mission of this Dash 8 was changed the next year when the National Aerial Surveillance Program was started by the Canadian Coast Guard. That program was taken over by Transport Canada in 2004.

Harbour Air brought both of their eBeavers to Oshkosh. The yet to fly (on electric power) C-FIFQ was displayed at their booth and C-FJOS was intended to fly a demonstration in the air show. Unfortunately red tape with the FAA and Transport Canada halted a permit to participate in the airshow. The aircraft did fly in and out of the Oshkosh Seaplane base however, returning to a local marina where the batteries were re-charged.

This 1977 Golden Eagles is the first one I have seen with winglets and aft fuselage strakes on the same aircraft.

Originally US Army Air Force 44-74423, this Mustang also served with the Royal Canadian Air Force 1950 - 58. Sold in the USA as N182XF with several aviation companies until bought to United Airlines pilot Clay Lacy in 1964. Registered N64CL in 1970, the aircraft had an extensive unlimited racing career. Sold to Reno racer Vicky Benzing in 2019, the aircraft underwent a four year rebuild keeping it's race number, registration and iconic color.

Originally marketed as the FK-Lightplanes FK51 Mustang, ScaleWings of Austria now manufacturer the SW-51 Mustang. It's a 70% scale P-51 replica. The exterior structure is all carbon fiber and is embossed with screws, rivets and other details as used on the full size original Mustang. A Rotax engine (up to 180hp) results in a similar power to weight ratio to the full size fighter.

Registered to the Department of The Interior and utilized by the National Park Service, N104PS was delivered new in 2019.

This Honda Jet's owner flew a 2017 Ha-420 (cn 42000055) that was sold back to Honda Aviation Service in 2021. At the same time they took delivery of this new aircraft with the same registration.

Built and imported into Canada in 2009, this R44 was privately owned until bought by Attitude Hélicoptère in January 2023.

Aerospace engineer Burt Rutan came up with some 367 aircraft concepts of which 45 were built and took to the air. The sole Rutan Boomerang first flew in 1996.

A newer PC-12 at the time of upload, N522WA was flight tested with registration HB-FST before delivered via Pilatus Business Aircraft to it's owner on May 11, 2022.

First introduced in the 1970 model year, the Aerobat added a stronger airframe, jetisonable doors and a shoulder harness for both seats with removable cushions to allow for a parachutes to be worn. N8336M is one of a small number of Aerobats that have had a tail wheel conversion.

Rolled out in January 1982, this Twin Otter was delivered to MAS Malaysian Airline System as 9M-MDJ in February. It was wrecked landing at Limbang airport, a small field built in 1963 by the British Army. It over ran the end of the runway and crashed into a drainage ditch seriously damaging the forward fuselage on January 8, 1998. A new airport was built after 2000 at Limbang. The aircraft wreckage went to Dodson International Parts until moved to Calgary, Canada and rebuilt sometime during 2019 - 23. Registered C-FDYL in January 2024, Harbour Air put it in service in June.

Continuing expansion allowed by deregulation, Piedmont Airlines added some thirty-three used 727-200s in the early to mid 1980s to reach the US West coast. This former Western Airlines airliner (1977 - 84) would merge into US Air's fleet as N749US in 1989. It was next flown by American Transair 1996 - 2001 registered N784AT. The aircraft would last fly with Astar Air Cargo (2005 - 2006) until stored at Kingman, AZ in DHL colors.

This Tutor was designated an instructional airframe in 1977 after training new RCAF pilots since 1966. It was returned to flying status in 1985 before stored in 2000. Returned to service in 2005 with the Snowbirds, the aircraft is pictured taking off for a practice show before two weekend performances at AirVenture 2024.

US Army (55-3262 ) delivered in May 1956 was transferred to the Army Transportation School in Fort Eustis, VA by January 1962. Sold at auction in poor condition in1978. Rebuilt as N90627 by Wilderness Wings Airways by 1981, who ceased business in 1983. The aircraft later flew in Alaska (later registrations were N666XX and N888KA). After a Vazar turbine conversion in 1989, the aircraft was sold to Ketchum Air Service. After a crash in August 1999 (a take-off without flaps), Kenmore Air bought the wreckage and contracted a rebuild as N707KA, entering service with large scenic windows in 2002.

Former US Marines 155475 has been with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Prevention / CAL Fire since 1993.

This 1957 T-34B Mentor was with the US Navy until withdrawn and stored in 1970. Previous civil registrations were N134GB and N334JP. The cn is listed in the USCAR as 144003 (the aircraft's bu number in the Navy) instead of the original BG-310.

This Cessna 305A carries the military serial of a Bird Dog that was lost near Minh Thanh, Vietnam on September 26, 1967. A three day search was unable to find any trace of the crew or aircraft.
