A rather demeaning role for this Skeeter. Preserved and displayed in the Science Museum, South Kensington, London. Still present in 2023.

Being readied to take it to the "60th Anniversary" of the types first flight which was held at Fleming Park, Eastleigh on 3rd August 2008(nearest venue to Eastleigh Airport where Saunders-Roe used to have their facility) The tailboom was fitted just to take a photo' As you can see the tailboom was much too long for transportation and it had to be left behind as it wouldn't fit on the trailer or in the towing vehicle!! Since this photo was taken it has had glazing panels and doors fitted. The engine panels have always been left off to enable visitors to inspect the engine & ancillary equipment.

Displayed as an ambulance, complete with nurse. On top of the rotor head is a rocket fuel tank feeding auxiliary power nozzles fitted to the blade tips of G-AMTZ. According to the Napier company this fuel tank could be 'in the form of a quick-change unit suitable for use as a transport and storage container'. Photo from: Saunders-Roe

Waiting its turn to participate in the Historic Aircraft Museum Grand Air Display, piloted by Mike Sommerton-Rayner. Cancelled as WFU in May 1995. To the Yorkshire Air Museum in 2009.

This Skeeter was delivered to the RAF in November 1958 and SOC around October 1969. it latterly was in storage at The Helicopter Museum at Weston-super-Mare but moved to Krakow in November 2015.

1959 Skeeter. Served with the Army Air Corps Historic Flight and then stored at Middle Wallop for the Army Flying Museum.

Civilianised in October 1968. Displayed by Major Mike Somerton-Rayner. Cancelled as WFU in May 1995. To the Yorkshire Air Museum in 2009.

Built in 1959 this is one of three Skeeters stored in a shipping container with the inaccessible XL736 behind. The container had been opened for an enthusiasts day at the museum.
