Being readied to take it to the "60th Anniversary" of the types first flight which was held at Fleming Park, Eastleigh on 3rd August 2008(nearest venue to Eastleigh Airport where Saunders-Roe used to have their facility) The tailboom was fitted just to take a photo' As you can see the tailboom was much too long for transportation and it had to be left behind as it wouldn't fit on the trailer or in the towing vehicle!! Since this photo was taken it has had glazing panels and doors fitted. The engine panels have always been left off to enable visitors to inspect the engine & ancillary equipment.

Displayed as an ambulance, complete with nurse. On top of the rotor head is a rocket fuel tank feeding auxiliary power nozzles fitted to the blade tips of G-AMTZ. This Skeeter was delivered to the RAF in November 1958 and SOC around October 1969. it latterly was in storage at The Helicopter Museum at Weston-super-Mare but moved to Krakow in November 2015.

Built in 1959 this is one of three Skeeters stored in a shipping container with the inaccessible XL736 behind. The container had been opened for an enthusiasts day at the museum.

Saro P.531 Skeeter AOP.12 XM563 was re-engined with a Blackburn Turmo 603 gas-turbine as a development aircraft, being re-designated P.537. It was subsequently converted back to AOP.12 standard and sold 20th October 1969 at Moordrecht, Netherlands. Current with Schwabisches Bauern & Technik Museum, Seifertshofen, Germany in November 2004.

Withdrawn from use and sold in October 1969. To Schwabisches Bauern-Und Technikmuseum, Seiferstshofen, Baden-Wurttemberg. Last reported November 2004.
