Helitak 339 Stands at Essendon Fields replacing the Puma which joined the firefight on a big blaze to the North West.

Registration cancelled on 9 December 1991 on sale to Australia as VH-LHT then re-registered as VH-BEE. Restored as G-BKFN on 16 March 1995 , then cancelled again on 4 August 1995 on sale to Bulgaria as LZ-CAW. Restored as G-BKFN on 23 November 1995 and cancelled on 15 October 2007 on sale to the USA as N727HT, then became C-GDYZ.

This 1981 Big Lifter was originally registered N18096, then to Venezuela as YV-O-KWH-4, then back to the USA as N214HM, and finally N216PJ on 23 July 2013. It's stationed at Bendigo for the 2023-24 fire season and using the callsign 'Helitak 335'.

Operating on behalf of the Victorian Government is McDermott Aviation's Bell 214ST flying as Helitak 347.

SUH had arrived at Parafield a week or so before this photo was taken and had been conducting short flights during the intervening time. This was taken as it was being shutdown after one of those flights.

Operating from its base at Bendigo Airport is McDermott Aviation's Bell 214 N216PJ or Helitak 335.

Part of the Navy Museum at U-Tapao is this Bell 214ST, 2305.

Bell 214ST N31853 was one of several helicopters based at New Orleans Lakefront Airport for flight demos during the HAI Heli-Expo 1985 which was held at the downtown convention center. It's painted in the new Air Logistics colours. Bell later took N31853 on an Europe sales tour in 1985 that included the Paris Air Show. It then joined Helikopter Service in Norway as LN-OML and became the SAR helicopter based on the Statfjord B platform. On 3 October 1990 it was searching for a missing seaweed trawler in a bad storm near Askvoll in the Sogn area when it hit a mountain on Alden Island. 5 killed.

Bell 214B-1, C-FZVT, has been registered to Black Tusk Helicopters of Squamish, BC since May 1997. The helicopter previously operated in the United States as N9941K and in Norway as LN-OSG with Helikopter Service AS and Lufttransport AS (a HS company). Black Tusk acquired a new Kaman K-Max C-FZVM in March 2021 for logging so its three Bell 214B-1s could be dedicated to firefighting, but the K-Max crashed in the ocean while logging near Killam Bay, BC on October 4, 2021. The family-owned company also operates two Bell 206B's, a Airbus AS350B2 and a new K-Max, C-FZVB, delivered in March 2022
