Classic Flight titels faded from the fuselage

G-AMRA, adorned with ClassicFlight.com titles, is receiving some tender loving care in the Air Atlantique Classic Flight hangar. On 30 Jul 2013 this DC-3, operated by Air Atlantique since 1981, departed Coventry for the last time, on delivery to new owner Air Service Berlin. It was intended as the replacement for their first DC-3 D-CXXX (c/n 32872) which had crashlanded in Jun 2010. By May 2014 G-AMRA was still in basic Air Atlantique colours but now with registration D-CXXX applied. However, in 2019 the entire project was suddenly abandoned and this lovely DC-3 was offered for sale or scrap.

Ex RAF Dakota IV KK151. Operated by Morton Air Services from their Gatwick base between November 1968 and April 1973.

With the Classic Flight titles removed, this aircraft gave a nimble demonstration at the Marshall Aerospace Centenary celebrations

Ex RAF Dakota IV KK151 operated December 1944 until March 1952. Flown by many civil operators including BUIA frm November 1968 until April 1973. Still operational in 2013 at age 68 with 42,780 flying hours as at 31.12.11.
