Built in 2022 and put on the swiss register on May 11, 2022, this five bladed H145 is the latest addition to REGA's fleet, and the first of nine ordered. It was only in 2018 when REGA started to introduce seven BK117D-2 (with four Main Rotor Blades), planning to modify them to the latest D-3 model eventually. In 2021, REGA decided to get new helis instead, apparently because the modification kits were not availability in due time. The D-3 has a MTOW of 3'800 kg, just 100 kg more than the D-2. HB-ZQO is seen here temporarly operating under callsign "REGA 3" out of Bern-Belp airport.

Built in the late 1970's, this AB206 was delivered 2nd hand to the Macedonian National Police in 1991 and is the force's sole Jet Ranger. It first operated there as Z3-HHA before being re-serialled to MAP-7750. The previous history is not known. It is seen here after a ferry flight from Skopje, arriving at the Swiss Helicopter Maintenance (SHM) facility at Bern-Belp for maintenance. Also operated by the Macedonian NP is a Bell 212, a Bell 412 and a few Mi-17's. Name changed to North Macedonia Police in 2018 when the Prespa agreement with Greece kicked in.

Bell 205's became a rare sight in Europe. Came in at the last stunning light of the day to refuel, only to head out to the mountains again to fly a few more sling loads before the fall of night. Built in 1975, this airframe first served with the United Arab Emirates AF serialled 723, 115 and finally 333 before being sold to the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO, Silāḥ al-Jaww as-Sulṭāniy 'Umān) and serialled 738. Wucher Helicopter bought it around 2009, but had to invest quite a bit to obtain civilian EASA approval in order to operate it commercially.

Built in 2010 and delivered to Berner Oberländer Helikopter AG (BOHAG). Merged into the Swiss Helicopter fleet in July 2012. Seen here shuttling spectators to the Lauberhorn FIS world cup ski race. Crashed and written off in Diemtigtal after touching the cable of a cable car on June 25, 2022.

The austrian "Bundesheer" based a S-70 Blackhawk and this AB-212 at Hohenems during the World Economic Form 2022, taking place in Davos, Switzerland, just accross the border. In 1980, the Bundesheer started to introduce this rugged helicopter and over the years took charge of 26 units. 24 of them were new built Agusta-Bell's (serialled 5D-HA through 5D-HX), while a 25th airframe was a Bell 212 bought 2nd hand in Norway (c/n 32126, ex LN-OLL, becoming 5D-HY). Finally, the 26th heli - 5D-HZ - was rebuilt from the remains of 5D-HE and another aircraft, coming from Sudan (c/n unknown).

A technical problem forced this helicopter to spend the night at this parking lot next to a road. Built in 2001 as EC-135T1, upgraded to EC-135T2 around 2007. Based at Newquay and operated by Bond Air Services on behalf of Cornwall Air Ambulance till 2016, when the heli was sold to Babcock International and re-registered G-NHEM. Cornwall Air Ambulance was founded in 1987, becoming the UK's first Air Ambulance service.

Two Azerbaijan AF SU-25 based at Kürdəmir AB deployed to Konya to take part in exercise AE2022 for the 2nd time after 2021. The other airframe was 09 blue.

The Azerbaijan AF started to send fighter jets to TurAz (Turkey-Azerbaijan) Falcon exercises in 2016. Then in 2021, it also started to participate in the multinational Anatolian Eagle exercise, by sending a small contingent of MiG-29 and / or SU-25 jets to Konya. Very little is known about the Azerbaijan AF SU-25 fleet, believed to consist of some 40 aircraft based at Kürdəmir AB. Note the red dots on the fuselage, indicating this airframe has seen combat at one point.

Since 2006, the "Bundesministerium des Innern" (BMI) has received 18 EC135 and based them on currently 12 locations throughout Germany. D-HZRS - pictured here approaching it's homebase at Kempten-Durach - is a 2018 built airframe and of the latest H135 version (EC135T3). Owned by the BMI, they are being maintained, operated and flown by personnel of the German Bundespolizei. Hence the similar livery of the orange painted BMI aircraft versus the dark blue paint scheme of the Bundespolizei helicopters.

Between March 1984 and 2008, this SABCA built airframe flew with the Belgian AF as FA-76 (US FY serial 80-3567). Originally delivered to Belgium as a Block 15 aircraft, it was eventually upgraded to Block 20 MLU standard. A total of 25 ex Belgian AF F-16A/B's found their way to Jordan under the "Peace Falcon III & V" Programe, among them "148" in 2009. Note the blueish painted mid section of this bird, assigned to SQN 1 based at As Shaheed Muwaffaq al Salti Air Base.

This F-16B (US FY 81-0936) has been delivered to the Pakistan AF under the FMS program "Peace Gate II". The 1st two digits of the Pakistani serial indicate the year it was delivered (1984), while the 6XX number were assigned to the dual seater (single seaters have 7XX numbers). Originally a Block 15 aircraft, it was later upgraded to Block 20 status. Note the kill mark in the form of an indian flag on the nose section of 84606, apparently being the aircraft which shot down an IAF MiG-21 Bison (Fishbed) on February 27, 2019.

R10-002 supported the six PAF F-16A/B's participating in exercise Anatolian Eagle 2022. Pakistan operates four IL-78MP in the MRTT version. Based at Nur Khan (OPRN) / Islamabad International Airport and operated by Squadron 10 "Buffaloes", they are serialled R09-001, R10-002, R11-003 and R11-004. When operating as tanker, they carry a total of three refueling pods, one under each wing and the 3rd on the rear left side of the fuselage, unfortunately not visible on this picture. R11-003 was upgraded in Ukraine and re-delivered to the PAF in early February 2022, just prior to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Between May 1974 and August 1981, seventeen standard C-130H's were delivered to the Air Force of Morocco, three of which have since been lost in accidents. In addition, two KC-130H tankers joined the fleet in late 1981. Most moroccan Hercules have initially carried the c/n as serial, before getting civilian registrations in the CNA-O.. range, which were later slightly changed to CN-AO.. The airframe seen here taking off in beautiful atumn light had picked up civil servants who conducted emergency response training in Switzerland. It was previously CNA-ON, but never carried the c/n 4876.

This 2017 built EC145 still has the 4-bladed Main Rotor but will eventually be retrofitted with a new 5-Blade system. It is only temporary based at this heliport located to the new Schwarzwald-Baar medical clinic, covering for D-HDST. The clinic and the heliport were both built new in 2013 and are located at an altitude of 2419 ft / 750m, making it the highest rescue helicopter base in Germany.

The DRF base located just next to the medical clinic in Friedrichshafen is a so called RTH (Rettungshubschrauber) base and operates an EC135/H135. The heli is on daily stand-by between 7am and sunset. Even though no night flying nor rescue hoisting is done from this base, this H135 is still called to assist in more than 1000 medical emergencies anually. D-HRTA was built in 2017, carrying the appropriate c/n 2017.

Under a Foreign Military Sales FMS program named "Peace Carvin V", Singapore ordered 12 F-15 Strike Eagle in 2005 and then again 12 in 2007. As from June 2010, most of those 24 airframes were delivered to 149 Squadron "Steadfast" based at Paya Lebar. However, at least three F-15SG's remained in the US and were assigned to the 366FW / 428FS based at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho, tasked with training the Republic of Singapore AF Strike Eagle crews. 8302 carried US FY 05-0002 and shows off it's big air brake during Cope Tiger 2012, the first international exercise the F-15SG's were sent to.

With less than 300 units built by CASA (now Airbus Military) and Nurtanio/IPTN since 1986, the CN-235 is not the most successful aircraft, but nevertheless a rather interesting one, as it is operated in small numbers by many Air Arms around the world. The Indonesian AF has so far aquired twelve CN-235's, with A-2302 being the 2nd one (built in 1992). In June 2019, this airframe has been transferred to the newly established Skadron Udara 27 and based on the island of Biak (Papua province). It has since also received the typical glossy three tone camo livery know from the TNI-AU's C-130 fleet.

Since the introduction of Jet Airliners in the late 1950's, EL AL (founded in 1949) has almost entirely operated Boeing aircraft. Gone are they days of variety, and today the airline only operates B737-800/-900 on the short and medium flights plus B777-200 and B787 Dreamliners on longhaul routes. 4X-EKL was manufactured in June of 2009 and is one of 16 B737-800 on strength at the time of upload.

Manufactured in 2000, this helicopter has always been registered I-HBEP and first belonged to italian operator Helica, before it joined the small fleet of Heli Mont Blanc in 2019. Based at Aosta airport, Heli Mont Blanc offers aerial work to the local community, plus taxi and scenic flights for tourists. It also operates a Robinson R44 for basic and advanced training.

In 1985, STAR Flight (commonly known as Travis County STAR Flight) began operating as a joint venture program of Travis County, the City of Austin and the Brackenridge Hospital. Having started simple with a Bell 206 Jet Ranger and later a Bell 206L3 Long Ranger, it received larger and more complex Bell 412EP's as from 1990. Those were eventually replaced by EC135 and EC145 helicopters and in 2019, Travis County STAR Flight became the first ambulance service AW169 opertor in the US, introducing three units (N307TC, N308TC and N309TC).
