The Österreichische Luftstreitkräfte are using ten Kiowa's, all delivered in 1976. They are assigned to the Hubschrauber-Stützpunkt Nord (MzHSSt) at Allentsteig air base and are often seen with 7.62mm mini-guns.

Delivered to the Slovenian Air Force in early 1996. The aircraft is assigned to the Letalska Šola (LETS, Flight School) at Cerklje ob Krki. The LETS is part of the 15 Polk Vojaškega Letalstva (PVL, 15 Military Aviation Regiment).

This Romanian developed Light attack helicopter prototype was designed by IAR. It was based on the IAR-316B Alouette 3 (its frame) but with a new stepped two-seat armoured cockpit, a restyled fuselage with hardpoints for external weapons. The Skyfox was planned as a low cost attack helicopter, economical to operate and maintain and any Alouette 3 operator was able to support it.

This Airborne Early Warning and Control variant of the P-3 was nicknamed Sentinel. Eight P-3Bs were converted into AEW&C aircraft, but although the Orion is globally succesful, this variant was never exported. The P-3 AEWs are used by US Customs and Border Protection's Air and Marine Operations for drug interdiction and homeland security missions. This N91LC (BuNo 155299) became N145CS with the CBP.

This black Lockheed L-100-20 flew first on 19 June 1984 and was the High Technology Test Bed (HTTB) of manufacturer Lockheed. The Hercules was used for test and demonstration of advanced concepts for future C-130 design and developments. The aircraft was sadly lost in a crash at Dobbins AFB (GA) on 3 February 1993, killing the crew of seven. The cause of the crash was possibly a disengagement of the rudder fly-by-wire flight control system which resulted in a total loss of rudder control capability while conducting ground minimum control speed tests.

This Maritime Enforcer was an attempt by Fokker to enter the Maritime Patrol Aircraft market. Former F27-200ME PH-EXU on 29 May'84, became PH-FSY on 23 Aug'84, converted to F27-200 in early '86. Sold as LN-AKA to Busy Bee of Norway in Mar'86, transferred as such to Netherlines in Apr'90 and returned to Busy Bee in Oct'90. It was withdrawn on 16 Dec'92. Sold as SE-KXV to Sweden Airways in Mar'94 but never taken up. Stayed LN-AKA, to Viking Air in '94 and was stored at Norwich (UK) in '94. Became VT-SSA with Elbee Airlines on 22 Sep'95. Crashed into the sea on take-off Mumbai on 3 Jul'97.

Former N886PA with Pan American World Airways in Jan'69, went wfu in Oct'80 and transferred to Global Int'l Airways on 29 Apr'83. It returned to Pan Am on 19 Sep'83. Sold as N728Q to Falcon Aircraft Conversions Inc in Jul'84 and went as such to Skystar Int'l in Mar'85 (as pictured as Q707!). Then to Independent Air in Jul'87, to Kalair USA Corp on 18 Aug'89 and became N707KS with Skyways Int'l Avn on 22 May92. It became D2-MAN with British Columbia Management in Jul'00 and was operated by the Government of Angola, there withdrawn from use and offered for sale in Dec'18. Current status?

This military looking Gulf of the manufacturer was displayed at Le Bourget. The G-III (SRA-1) became N333GA with Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. from August 1984. It carried false serial 84-0420 in September 1984 as a demonstration how a Gulf looks for the USAF. The Gulf then became N47449 (as pictured) in that same month and was sold to the Indian Air Force in September 1987, first registered as VK-ENR and then serialled as K2960. The aircraft is still operational within the IAF.

Possibly construction number 006, handed over to the Yugoslavia Air Force in 1985. I went to Montenegro and eventually to Serbia in 2010.

Returning from an Alpha Scramble, this Eagle driver proudly waved with its machine's air brake to the nearby spotters and aviation photographers. 81-0048 was delivered to the USAF on 12 April 1983 and arrived at Soesterberg's 32nd Tactical Fighter squadron "Wolfhounds" three days later. It served the sole royal USAF squadron up to August 1992 and left for Tyndall AFB (FL). It became an GF-15C instructional airframe with the 363rd TRS, 82nd TRW at Sheppard AFB (TX) in March 2011.

This Hahn based F-16A visited Soesterberg air base with three other collegues of its 10th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Fighting Tenth". This squadron was disbanded on 30 September 1991. The Falcons arrived on a busy day, that saw the arrival of ten Langley Eagles, two KC-10As and a C-130H, and 32nd TFS F-15C/D activities that included an Alpha Scramble too as well as Dutch transport movement with F27s. This 80-0613 served after its Hahn tour also the Texas, Illinois and Michigan ANG, was modified in the meantime to F-16A ADF and was stored at AMARG on 31 March 1994 with inventory code FG0125.

Only hours after its arrival for a deployment at Soesterberg, 80-0043 took off again for a familiarization flight over the Netherlands. The Eagle was delivered to the USAF on8 March 1982 and served the 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron "The Ironmen" up to April 1985 when it was transferred to Iceland with the 57th FIS. Later it also served the 57th FW at Nellis, the Missouri and Hawaii ANG. It was eventually stored at AMARG on 26 August 2010 with inventory code AAFH0306.

Accepted by the USAF on 23 August 1983, so quite new when it arrived for the first time in the Netherlands. This KC-10A supported together with a sister ship ten Langley Eagles that went on deployment to the Dutch base.

This commanders aircraft of the 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron "The Ironmen" touched down first at Soesterberg, leading a formation of ten 'FF" coded Eagles that crossed the pond from homebase Langley AFB (VA). The Eagle was delivered to the USAF on 18 February 1982 and made a long career with Langley (October 1982-1985), Keflavik ('IS" coded 1985-July 1993), Tyndall ('TY', 1993-2007) and (no code) Oregon Air National Guard (2007-April 2010). The Eagle arrived at 309th AMARG on 30 April 2010 and received inventory code AAFH0249.

Only hours after its arrival for a deployment at Soesterberg, 81-0021 took off again for a local mission. The Eagle was delivered to the USAF on 27 May 1982 and served the 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron "The Ironmen" up to May 1987 when it was transferred to the 21st TFW in Alaska. Later is also served the 33rd FW at Eglin. It was eventually stored at AMARG on 27 August 2009 with inventory code AAFH0193.

Formation take-off from Soesterberg air base. 81-0065, a dual seat Eagle, was delivered to the USAF on 31 January 1983 and arrived at Soesterberg with the 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wolfhounds" on 5 February 1983. It stayed with this sole royal USAF squadron up to August 1991. It was then transferred to Nellis AFB (NV) where it served the 57th FW. This assignment was followed by a tour at Tyndall and Portland before it was sold to Israel (serial ?) in September 2016.

Supporting ten F-15Cs of the 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron while crossing the pond for a deployment, this KC-10A made an enthusiastic touch-down at Dutch soil. 82-0192 was accepted by the USAF on 23 May 1983 and was stored at AMARG from 9 September 2022.
