Delivered SAS in March 1969. Re-registered OY-KIB in October 1990. Went to Spirit Airlines in October '95 (N128NK).In 1996 to Valujet. returned to lessor September '96. Broken up at Lake City(FL) in 2017.

The aircraft was originally PH-DNH of KLM, delivered in 1967. She was with Spirit for the second half of the 1990s.

Delivered new to SAS in December 1976. Returned to lessor in December 2001. In 2002 to Roswell (NM) for storage and scrap.

This DC-9 was used as an executive transport throughout its lifetime. Later registrations were: N112AK, VR-CKE, VR-CKO, N915MJ.

By early 1999, Aviaco was 100% owned by Iberia. This Aviaco DC-9 was used by the parent company as one of their small fleet of DC-9s flying connecting services from Miami to/from some Central/South American cities.

In the past, Iberia based a handful of DC-9s in the Americas, connecting at Miami with their Madrid services, in the days before more direct connections to South America were viable.

The registration is a clue that this DC-9 was delivered first to North Central Airlines (September 16, 1976). With a name change to Republic Airlines in 1979 and merger with Northwest Airlines in 1986, the aircraft was in service until an accident put it out of action. On May 19, 2005, it suffered a failure of one (of two) hydraulic systems. Landing safely at Minneapolis, the crew inadvertently shut down the engine with the good hydraulic pump. Cascading failures of the nose wheel steering, brakes and thrust reversers for lack of hydraulic pressure caused the aircraft to collide with an A319.

Fuselage broke into three sections after aircraft overran the runway at Denpasar on December 30, 1984.

Delivered new to Martinair as PH-MAO 9th Feb 1969 and returned to McDonnell Douglas as N502MD 28th Apr 1983. Became N930AX with Airborne Express Aug 1984 and transferred to Everts Air Dec 2009, then re-registered N930CE 23rd May 2012

Ex Korean Airline HL7201, registered 2nd Feb 1973 to Hughes Airwest, merged into Republic Airlines Oct 1980 and into Northwest Oct 1986. Retired KMZJ (Marana) 29th Aug 2005, scrapped

WFU in 2000. The fuselage became a party venue in Santa Cruz, Aruba in 2014. Current status unknown.

"Leased by Inex-Adria Airways" beside the front door. Operated by Pan Adria for less than a year, 1973-74. Bought by Inex-Adria in 1974.

This DC-9 was originally delivered to Swissair in Novemer 1990. It was damaged in November 1975 during a wheels-up landing during a training flight, but repaired and returned to service. It flew with BMA from September 1988 until November 1994, when it was withdrawn and stored at East Midlands (EMA) until delivery to Valujet the following March as N940VV. The plane was transferred to Air Tran in September 1997, later becoming N840AT. In January 2005 it went to Aero California but was withdrawn in July 2008, stored at Tijuana (TIJ) and subsequently scrapped.
