This aircraft was built for the RAAF in 1944 and immediately placed in storage until 1948. It then saw service at Point Cook and Uranquinty until 1952, when it was 'retired'. It was sold and civilianised in 1958, becoming VH-RQA(3), later VH-BQN(2). It was partially destroyed in a bushfire in 1977 but was rebuilt to fly again in the '80s. It is currently with Tiger Moth Joyflights back at Point Cook and is seen here fresh from another rebuild and in a new colour scheme.

This aircraft has one of those convoluted Aussie Tiger histories. Built to a wartime RAAF order by DHA Mascot as A17-225. Sold in 1946 to the Royal Aero Club of WA and registered VH-ARA. In 1953 it was sold to the Tasmanian Aero Club and became VH-BSB. In 1956 it was sold to a private owner but damaged in an accident the following year. The remains were re-built and eventually restored to the Register as VH-ADW in 1973.

Built at DHA Mascot and taken on RAAF charge as A17-80 in September 1940. It didn't have to go far, as it was allotted to 4 EFTS at Mascot! After a short spell at 11 EFTS at Benalla and an overhaul by Ansett in mid-1942, it was allocated to 7 EFTS at Western Junction. Sold in 1946 and registered VH-AUA on 20 June 1947.

After a short spell at 11 EFTS at Benalla and an overhaul by Ansett in mid-1942, it was allocated to 7 EFTS at Western Junction. Sold in 1946 and registered VH-AUA on 20 June 1947.
