Cargolux LX-KCL being loaded at East Midlands Airport, England (EMA) for it flight to Austin Texas (AUS) carrying equipment, medical and the safety cars for the USA, F1 Grand Prix scheduled for 24th October.

First flew as CL-44D4-8 CF-PBG-X in 1963. Delivered to Loftleidir as TF-LLF in 1964. Converted to a CL-44J in 1966. To Cargolux in 1972 then to Cargosur as N4993U in 1976. To TL-AAL then to United African Airlines as 5A-CVB in 1979. Reregistered as 5A-DGJ in 1980. To Vic Air Cargo as 9Q-CQS in 1983 then to Virunga Air Cargo in 1984, Aer Turas as EI-BRP in 1986 then to Heavylift Cargo Airlines in 1989. Withdrawn from use at Southend in 1990 and scrapped in 1992.

In Cargolux colours with no titles. Delivered to Air France as N18815 in 1974. Reregistered as F-BPVO in 1982. To Cargolux as LX-DCV in 1991 then to Atlas Air in 1995 and reregistered as N809MC in 1996. Withdrawn from use at Roswell, NM in 2009 and later scrapped.

Delivered to Cargolux in September 1999. Operating for Silk Way betwene uly 2008 and October 2010. To Silk Way West in July 2012 as 4K-SW008.
