Thought this would be a nice festive touch for Christmas 2020 as a thankyou to the "Crew" and all of the contributing photographers. Aircraft is really XF300, then G-BZPC. The real WB188 was at RAF Melksham(12 School of Technical Training) as a gate guard during the late 50's until the closure of the station in 1964. Neat touch with a red light in the tailpipe! Delivered out on 7th July 2017

This Herc C4 was sadly written off on 12 February 2007 during a movement of troops to a Tactical Landing Zone (TLZ) in Maysaan province, Iraq. After a Tactical Air Traffic Controller at the TLZ approved the landing, the landing went uneventful until the crew experienced a load bang and a bright flash during touch-down, caused by two IEDs. The aircraft slewed off the left-hand side of the runway and a left wing fire started The captain brought the aircraft to an immediate halt. Damage to the C4 appeared too large, so the aircraft was blown up on the scene.
