Later changed again, to CCCP-72001 but severely damaged in a hard landing at Kiev-Svyatoshino (date unknown) and wfu. Rebuilt as An-71 AWACS aircraft with distinctive forward-swept tail and registered CCCP-780151, rolled out June 1985. Only three produced before programme abandoned in 1990.This one last noted at Svyatoshino in 2009 cannibalised
