Preserved wearing the markings of No. 64 Squadron RAF

Initially built in 1955 as a single seat Hunter F.4 WV318 by Hawker Aircraft at Kingston. Converted to T.7 trainer and flown by 111 Squadron RAF in this black scheme. Now restored using parts from WV322. Exhibited airworthy at the 2012 RAF Waddington air show.

Saudi Arabian two-seat Lightning Trainer based in the UK during the period of Saudi pilot training by RAF personnel. Seen here displayed at RAF Coltishall's 1968 Battle of Britain show. Delivered to Saudi Arabia on 11 July 1969. Widely quoted as 55-714 but that is its old serial. By this time the Lightning T.55s had already been reserialed using the new Saudi serial system, without the mark number prefix. 55-714 became 212 in the new system (still in use today), and that serial is shown on the tail and nose in Arabic script.

The British Royal Navy's WV828 is preserved in the Tradition Room at De Kooy, painted as a Dutch Sea Hawk Mk50 as flown off the carrier Karel Doorman, circa 1960.
