Taken on strength by the RCAF on June 21, 1960, this was the first Canadair built Rolls-Royce Eland powered Cosmopolitan. Converted to a 580 circa 1966, the aircraft specialized in VIP transport. Struck off strength in 1996 and supposedly registered C-FNCI it was stored at Calgary, AB. The aircraft was sold to Las Vegas Aircraft Sales And Leasing as N44A in 2000 but remained stored at Calgary as civil conversion was not cost effective. Ferried to Kelowna, BC circa 2012 with four other Cosmopolitans, the aircraft was later scrapped.

The Swedish Air Force introduced its own designation system when it was established. The DH Vampire became Jaktflygplan 28 or Fighter Aircraft 28. This example is actually 28219, but painted to represent an F15 aircraft. Note the red squadron insignia on the wall. The insignia in the middle is that of 1. Division's technical company, 1. komp F15. The two others are those of 1. Divison. The black hand on left was used from the early 1960s until it was replaced by Attackix around 1978.

XT864 did a spectacular bolter, a touch and go, at the 1970 Air Show, it could not have landed as Lee on Solent was a short communications airfield. The RN Phantoms home at sea was the old Ark Royal
