This aircraft, built in 1988, was still in service in 2023, as C6-JAY with Western Air.

slide scan from the NK collection. - Air Rouergue bought this Fairchild from Stellar in 1979, repainted it in full company colours, but had to hand it off to TAT a few months later. TAT did never repaint it into their own all-yellow scheme and operated it in Air Rouergue colours until the sale to TABA/Brazil as PT-LCT in 1982. - The aircraft had an incident while taxying at Itaituba in 1990 and was retired thereafter.

D-CESA was operated by Südavia from 1987 until this Munich-Riem based airline was liquidated in 1990.

Still wearing an Air Polynesie colour scheme, F-GGPN visited Munich on a flight for its new operator Uni Air. Nearly ten years after this visit, the aircraft was sold to Ecuador as HC-BXC. It flew for Austro Aero and was retired at Cuenca after a few years - and is probably still existant, it was last seen there in derelict condition in 2021.

slide from Norbert Kröpfl. - This Falcon 20 was the personal aircraft of Jean-Bédel Bokassa, the ruler of the Central African Republic, and was operated out of its base Bangui from 1969 until 1974. Sold via Switzerland as HB-VER, the bizjet found new owners in Saudi Arabia for the following 25 years, registered as HZ-KA3 and HZ-NES. Therafter it was flown to the US as N174BD and was finally noted as such in storage at Fayetteville AR in 2007.

The French regional carrier TAT owned this Fairchild F-27 after 1980, but repeatedly leased it to other airlines rather than operating it on own routes. However, the distinctive yellow colour scheme was retained, and Swedair operated the yellow turboprop for one season during 1984. - F-GBRU was active until 1990, then withdrawn and stored at Dinard, where it was last noted in 1996.

OO-DTC is shown here in its first colour scheme; it should appear in full SABENA colours and two more standard schemes of DAT until its sale to ALM / Antillean Airlines in 1988. The aircraft was wfu at Curacao as PJ-FHA in 1991.

slide scan from the NK collection. - The initial colour scheme of Aerocenter's SE-IEG was inherited from its former US operator, when it was registered as N225. The Fairchild was built in 1960 and was noted in derelict condition at Oaxaca, Mexico, in 2024, after its service with Aerovias Oaxaquenas as N311RD.

slide scan from the NK collection. - Aerocenter's SE-IEG showed white colours in its later years of operation with the Swedish company. - This Fairchild was finally used by Aerovias Oaxaquenas as N311RD, and its hulk was still visible on Google earth more than 30 years after it had been retired at Oaxaca, Mexico.

Swedair leased SE-IGZ from Aerocenter for a few months in 1983 but did not apply their full company colours. The Fairchild was sold to Air Cortez as N724US the following year and was noted as such in storage at Las Vegas in 1988 before it was broken up.

Delivered to Iraqi Airways as YI-AGF in 1974. Leased to Arab Air Cargo as JY-CAC in 1983. Reregistered as 4YB-CAC in 1984. Returned to Iraqi Airways as YI-AGF in 1989. Stored at Amman from 1991 until at least 2010 then scrapped.

Delivered to United Airlines as N9021U in 1968. To Air Florida as N69AF in 1980 then to Pan Am in 1982. To Aerovias as TG-ANP in 1992 then to Aero Continente as OB-1561 in 1994. To Magnicharters as XA-SYX then back to Aero Continente as OB-1637 in 1995. To Magnicharters as XA-SYX in 1996. Back to Aero Continente as OB-1672 in 1997. To Magnicharters as XA-SYX in 1997 then back to Aero Continente as P4-OYX in 1998. To Magnicharters as XA-SYX then back to Aero Continente as OB-1733 in 1999. Reregistered as CC-CJO in 2000. Back to OB-1733 and stored at Lima in 2001. Still there in 2008. Scrapped.

Delivered to TWA as N18709 in 1966. To El Al as 4X-ATD in 1982. To Hartford Power Systems as N707HP then to Boeing and used for parts in the KC-135E program at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1989. Scrapped in 2013.

Delivered to Crossair as HB-AHA in 1984. Damaged beyond repair at Zurich in 1990 when the undercarriage was erroneously retracted during a ground training session. Fuselage used for cabin training then later scrapped.

Delivered to United Airlines as N9047U in 1969. To Air Florida as N63AF in 1981 then to Pan Am in 1982. To Air Asiatic as VT-ERN in 1990. Returned to the lessor as N63AF in 1991. To Air Atlanta Icelandic as TF-ABH then to Lao Aviation as RDPL-34126 in 1992. Returned to the lessor as N63AF in 1994. To Transmile as 9M-PMR then to Air Philippines as RP-C1938 in 1995. Withdrawn from use at Manila in 2000. Scrapped in 2001.

slide scan from the NK collection. - Holstenflug brought D-BOOM onto the German register in 1979, but after a few months and Holstenflug's financial troubles, the Fairchild was operated by Wirtschaftsflug. In 1982 it was sold again to the US (as N381BA to Britt Airways) and returned to Germany as D-BCEA in 1990. Withdrawn in 1992, it was used as a fire trainer at Cologne and finally broken up in 2012.
