A low key 737 Boeing Business Jet of the 201st Airlift Squadron, a unit of the District of Columbia Air National Guard providing secure transportation for government VIPs and Department of Defense officials. Its parent unit is the 113th Wing "Capital Guardians".

Assembled by Fokker, this DC-3 was delivered to Swissair in October 1938. Serving until 1955, the airliner went to Ozark Airlines registered N2817D. Registered N143D after 1957, the aircraft also added a cargo door and Pratt & Whitney R-1830 engines sometime after arriving in the USA. Traded to Fairchild when Ozark bought FH-227s, a few short term owners followed before Airline Aviation Academy (Academy Airlines) bought it in 1974. Sold to a private owner in 2003, it remains based at Griffin, GA. Seen here promoting the Gold Seal Ground School flight training school.

Wartime 41-34477 was among a substantial batch of Texans transferred to the US Navy becoming SNJ-5 bu 43736. By 1959 it was registered N3259G. The aircraft has been registered N7861B since 1970.

Cancelled Eastern order. Delivered to the USAAF as C-49K 43-2014 in 1943. To NC12945 in 1945. Registered as N12945 after 1948. N77D in 1952, N7222 in 1965 and N7772 in 1968. To the museum in 1990.

Built in 1979. Crashed in a jungle in Honduras in 2004.

As interest in the Deutsche de La Muerthe Cup Race revived in the 1930s, race car designer Ettore Bugatti began a design to compete in the speed competition. The Bugatti 100P was under construction when WWII intervened. Unfinished, the aircraft was moved from his Paris factory in 1940 as Germans advanced and stored in the countryside. In 1970 a collector in the USA bought the aircraft for the two Bugatti engines in the racer and sold the airframe for restoration. Donated to the US Air Force Museum in 1979, it was kept stored until donated to the EAA Museum in 1996 and a restoration completed.

Painted as wartime Harvard II AJ958 used by No. 39 Service Flying Training School at Swift Current, Saskatchewan, this Harvard 4 was originally with the Royal Canadian Air Force as 20415 .

Built in 1946 and registered as NC80305, to N80305 after 1948. Still current on the register in 2020.

After arrival at Oshkosh, this Lightning II had the Air Force crew names replaced with the notation "In Memory of Vlado Lenoch" on the nose wheel doors. Heritage Flight pilot Vlado Lenoch died in the crash of the P-51 Mustang he was flying eleven days earlier.
