This pre production Yak-42 was on display at The 1977 Paris Airshow. It is a replacement for original show aircraft CCCP-42303 (c/n 02) which crashed on 30 May 1977 and is actually CCCP-1976, hastily re-identified. Scanned from a slide.

Seen in the static display at the 1977 Paris Airshow, in full US Coast Guard livery to publicise the recent sale of 41 acft but was never for USCG. This acft went to Egyptian AF as SU-AYD Scanned from a slide.

This aircraft crashed into the Gulf of Tonkin on 2 June 1968.

Rolled out 3-Jan-1967 and used by DHC as a demonstrator April to June 1967. Leased to Midwest Airlines June to November 1967. To Trans-East Airlines as N1370T, to 20-Nov-1967, Chartina Jan-1970, to Time Air as CF-QHC 08-Sep-1971, to Northward Airlines 02-Apr-1973, re-registered C-FQHC 2-Jan-1975. to Kenn Borek 23-Oct-1980. Leased to a number of airlines including Air Schefferville, Harbour Air, Maldivian Air Taxi as 8Q-QHC. Registered C-GBPE when returned to Kenn Borek 09-Sep-2009. The Aermacchi M-346 Master is a military twin-engine transonic trainer aircraft. Originally co-developed with Yakovlev as the Yak/AEM-130, the partnership was dissolved in 2000 and Alenia Aermacchi proceeded to separately develop the M-346 Master, while Yakolev continued work on the Yakovlev Yak-130. The first flight of the M-346 was performed in 2004. The type is currently operated by the air forces of Italy, Israel, Singapore, and Poland. Since 2016 the manufacturer became Leonardo-Finmeccanica as Alenia Aermacchi merged into the new Finmeccanica, finally rebranded as Leonardo in 2017.
