Interesting to see two colour schemes on this Dc3 as it is Air France on the starboard side and KLM on the port side. It is seen here departing Duxford at 5-55pm after the Flying Legends Airshow had ended. (Canon 40D 275mm)

This beautiful Aircraft Restoration Company Harvard was built in Canada in 1953 for the USAF, with which it served as 53-4619. After being sold to the German Air Force as a pilot trainer (serving as AA050 and BG050) and then the Portuguese Air Force (as 1747) she arrived in the UK and given a RCAF scheme but after undergoing a thorough refurbishment from 1993 to 2000 she was repainted to fly again as 1747.
