Ex US Navy Harpoon Bu37254, delivered in Nov 1945. Withdrawn from use Nov 1953 and stored at Litchfield Park, AZ. Struck off charge in Dec 1956, and sold as N7248C in Jan 1971. Converted as an agricultural sprayer in 1971 by Ralph Johnson and operated by him until sold in 1984, still as N7248C. Acquired by Hal Kaden's Southwest Aviation in May 1985 and still owned by him at the time of this photo, almost 40 years later. He reregistered it as N2PV in May 1986. This Harpoon has been stored at Las Cruses since at least 1994. Note traces of previous registration N7248C still visible on the fuselage.

Originally delivered as USAAF 44-34713. To French AF in Jan 1954 as 434713, returned to USAF in Nov 1955. To N5538V in Dec 1959, N706ME in 1961. Converted to On Mark Marketeer executive aircraft in 1964, then to N36BB in 1966, N26MR in 1974 and N26WB in 1975. To the National Warplane Museum (Geneseo, NY) in 1988 and restored to partial B-26B configuration with an 8-gun nose. Registered as N706ME to Nostalgia Inc. in Nov 1992, but never operated as such. Stored at Las Cruses since at least 1996, still painted as N26WB.

First flew in October 1977 and delivered in February 1979, as a GR1 model. Upgraded to GR1A and GR3A in later years, serving with 6 Sqn at Coltishall at least from the early nineties until November 2005. Stored at Bentwaters and eventually shipped to the USA in 2014 for the museum. On display since, in first Gulf War desert pink coating with just M on the nosewheel door. Last tailcode was EQ for a few months but it was EM for many years before that.

The museum gate guard since 2014, having replaced A-7 70-0973. Delivered to the US Navy as A4D-2N 148571 in 1961, redesignated A-4C the following year. Became N401FS in 1974, N53996 seemingly not taken up and with Flight Systems until 1981. Via a short period at MASDC (3A530) to the museum.

Delivered in 1969 and soon converted to KA-6D tanker version. Became the A-6E prototype in November 1977 and continued operational use until its flying days ended 16 years later at AMARC. To the museum late 1995, initially on display with its last unit's markings as NJ-562. Repainted by September 2011 as shown, having joined VA-165 in 1984. This squadron made two cruises aboard the Kitty Hawk with Carrier Air Wing 9, to the WestPac and Indian Ocean in 1985 and a World Cruise in 1987.

On 29 September 2022, SOFIA flew her last mission as the programme was deemed too expensive for its science productivity. On the following 13 December, the 'special Special Performance 747' was ferried from Palmdale (CA) via flypasts at Edwards AFB to Davis-Monthan. The aircraft had originally been delivered to Pan Am in May 1977, flew with United as N145UA starting February 1986 and went to NASA in April 2005.

Initially preserved at Homestead AFB (FL) in the 1990s as '60441' with local tailcode FM and moved to Pima as such in 2001. Beautifully repainted in 2012 into the livery of its first unit, the 425th TFTS at Williams AFB (AZ), but without the wing badge. Delivered in November 1972, this was a trainer notably for South Vietnamese pilots at the time.
