Previously used by the School of Flight Deck Operations at Culdrose as A2692, and moved to Predannack's Fire School on 12 September 2007. Sold in 2012 and now preserved in Australia.

Previously used by AESS Gosport for ground instruction as A2749, then moved to Predannack's Fire School on 21 February 2006. It was upright for a few hours while its gearbox was removed, to be used to drive an air compressor in a workshop. It was later laid back on its side, minus the two engines. Moved on 14 June 2017 to an unknown location.

The modern terminal building at Trapani is situated at the opposite end of the airfield to the military base. It is mainly used by low-cost carriers

After a few hours delay the big blue bird finally showed. I was already on my way home when my colleague called to say that it was 10 minutes out. I raced back and was luckily still in time to catch it. This photo was taken at the lowest point of the whole low-approach procedure. Every once in a while we used to get a KLM 747 for a low-approach as part of a post-maintenance checkflight.

Birgi, on Sicily is essentially an F-16 base with a small civil terminal about as far away from the F-16 area as you could get. Since about 2007 it has become well used by mainly low-cost carriers, in particular Ryanair. Here six F-16s can be seen (one in the blister hangar) the colourful livery making the nearest and third, MM7240 easy to identify. The second carries a special livery that I cannot trace.
