This 742F was delivered to JAL Cargo in August 1987 and is pictured here lifting off rw07L. The plane was retired in March 2008, ferried to Mohave (MHV) and registered N723SA with Southern Air, presumably for parts. The frame has since been scrapped.
This -40 series, note the bulging no.2 engine nacelle, was delivered to JAL in April 1979 and is pictured here departing home off rw07L. In September 2005 it underwent conversion to a tanker and now flies with Omega Air as N974VV.
This 742 was delivered to Northwest in May 1986 and is pictured here climbing out from rw25R. The plane was wfu and stored at Pinal Air Park from June 2006 to July 2008. Fate was smiling on it as it then went to Victorville for a few months (refurbishing?) and was delivered to Kabo Air as 5N-DKB in October 2008. The frame is now listed as stored (where?).
Pictured about to touch down as dusk on rw25R after the flight up from New Zealand. This 763 was delivered to ANZ in November 1994 and had a long life with the airline, finally being retired in March 2017.
The 77W demonstrator is pictured on very short final for rw07R arriving from Taipei. I'm not a fan at all of sky-shots but it was leaving very early next morning to Singapore on the next stage of its world tour and so this was my only chance to catch it.
