The plane went to Delta in January 1992 as N769DL and was retired to Victorville (VCV) in February 2000 and has been scrapped by August 2013. This lovely old -100 was originally delivered to BOAC in November 1973 and flew its last revenue flight for British Airways in May 1999. It was then ferried to Roswell (ROW) and subsequently scrapped. Note the 'Fly to Serve' crest on the tail is the small, earlier version. It later became almost twice the size.
