Owned by NewCal Aviation. Just airborne from Luqa for a pre-delivery test-flight. Ex-9J-NAA, Zambian Air Force AF303. Ditched off Newfoundland, Atlantic Ocean, on 23 October 1984 on delivery flight to the USA after running out of fuel. Of the two crew, the pilot-in-command lost his life while the other was rescued by a Canadian Forces Labrador helicopter.

Built in 1940 and registered as NC25601. To the USAAF as C-56C 42-68690 in 1942. Back to NC25601 in 1943, reregistered as N25601 after 1948 and N141C in 1958. Stored at Mesa-Falcon Field by 1984, with faded "Vistas Unlimited. Ltd." titles still visible. Later moved to Ocotillo Wells, CA.

Delivered to Jersey European Airways July 16, 1980, G-OJEA was ferried to Manchester on July 25 and 26th via Reykjavik, Iceland. Pictured in a later British Caledonian Commuter color scheme, the aircraft was sold to RRC Air Services - Ethiopian Rehabilitation & Relief Commission in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia February 5, 1985. On August 7, 1989 it crashed in the mountains in the Baro River basin near Gambella, enroute to the Fugnido refugee camp.

In basic Monarch livery but without the yellow band along the fuselage.

Later registered G-ZAPB with Titan before being sold to an operator in the U.S.

Soc. Columbia was headquartered in Genoa, the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. This explains the airline's name, and the tail logo, which is a stylized representation of the Santa Maria, the ship on which Columbus set out to discover America. Columbia operated this Herald (ex G-BFRJ) from 1984 until its bankruptcy in August 1986. A year later it was sold to Channel Express as G-CEXP, and in March 1996 it was wfu and put up for display on the visitor's terrace at London-Gatwick. It was removed from there in 2003, and by 2014 is sat derelict in a remote corner near the fire training area.
