Built in Santa Monica, CA and delivered to TWA as NC1945 in Feb 1941. To North Central Airlines in 1952. From 1968 she flew with various charter carriers before going to travel club Coronado Airlines in CA. Later doing geo survey work from Torrance, CA before going into storage at Palmdale and from the mid 80's at Roswell, NM. In 1993 work began to prepare her for preservation and she now resides in 2023 at Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport, Kansas City in TWA livery.

Sold in October 1994 and registered as G-BVXT on 18 January 1995. Re-registered as G-JPVA on 22 February 1995. Registration cancelled on 4 November 2016 as permanently withdrawn from use, and now the UWAS gate guard at St Athan.

Delivered to the Chilean AF as 341 on 15 October 1982, and preserved at the National Air & Space Museum, Los Cerillos, Chile.

In storage for Ormond Hayden-Baillie who bought it from the MOD on 10 February 1976. It moved to SWWAPS at Lasham in 1980, and following the closure of the museum was moved to Booker in 2010. It is now displayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Speke, Merseyside, preserved by the Speke Aviation Heritage Group.

Used at RAF Wattisham for ground instruction as 8846M from 20 February 1985, before being scrapped in 1990.
