Built as a CV240-5 for Trans Australia and delivered as VH-TAQ 8/48. Cvtd to CV300. Seen here operated by Diversified Marketing, Inc. Other regns were G-AOFC, N9853F, JA5048, N5550A, LN-LAU, N556R and N3338A.

Assigned to the Lexington-Blue Grass Army Depot. Built as C-47A-DK, USAAF 42-92611, and transferred to the USN as R4D-5 BuNo 17168. Transferred to the Army as a C-47H, keeping the USN BuNo as the serial number.

Flown by Bahamas Int'l Realty, Ltd. Was AA CV240-0 N94267 2/49 to 4/59. Cvtd to CV300 8/61 and rr N566R. Other regns were N333H, N166NK, N1661K, LN-KLU and N777DC. Crashed into lagoon Unguia, NW Colombia 4/78.

Formerly B.21-57 (or DB.21-37) of the Spanish AF, this C-2.111 flew from Duxford and Bovingdon during the filming of "Battle of Britain" in 1967/68. Seen here being lifted into the HAM compound on Aviation Way at Southend Airport, after the closure it was dismantled and placed into store, finding its way to North Weald. Said to have been sold in the US but remains stored, for some years in Norfolk but moved to Duxford in 2015

This aircraft, delivered as BEA's fourth 'Elizabethan' in 12.51, was the penultimate survivor of the type until being broken up soon after this photo. Acquired by Decca Navigator in 11.63 after serving the King of Morocco as CN-MAK, she was sold to South Seas Airways in 11.71 to be ZK-DFC but this was not taken up and there she remained till the scrap man arrived

A less familiar Viscount with BMA. Built at Hurn, FF 5.59, delivered to Airwork and inaugurated Sudan Airways 'Blue Nile' service from Gatwick to Khartoum via Rome, Athens and Cairo as ST-AAN. Transferred to BUA 12.62, leased to Aviaco during 1965 and joined BMA in 2.67. Operated by Alidair in 1972 and sold to Arkia in 2.74 as 4X-AVG, being delivered in Alidair colours. Latterly used for fire training at Tucson and scrapped by 1999
