This Destroyer was built in 1956 as a RB-66B and upon delivery went to the 19th Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron. It was converted to a JRB-66B and modified to test the radar and control system of the Boeing-MARC BOMARC missile. By 1965 it had been transferred to the Chanute Technical Training Center (Air Training Command) at Chanute AFB before eventually joining the museum there in 1993. Unfortunately, the closing of the museum in October 2015 has resulted in the frame being scrapped.

Quite a job to park this large plane on a streetcorner in between powerlines. This beast is posing as B-36B 44-92065, but it is in fact RB-36H 51-13730. It is currently on display at Castle AFB.

Delivered to US Navy as a WV-2 in 08.56. Served several Patrol Squadrons and the Pacific Missile Range. Retired to Davis Monthan in 05.79. Preserved in 1950s scheme.

Built as RB-66B recce aircraft. The 'J' prefix to its designation indicates a later use for test work on missile development before retirement to Davis Monthan and latter its display at the Rantoul Museum.

This old girl serves as the gate guard at the Octave Chanute Aerospace Museum. The museum closed in November 2015 and the C-97 and C-133 were offered for scrap at government auction in September 2017.
