This Trident was delivered to BEA in March 1964 and was finally retired from flying in February 1975, although it soldiered on for a while as a ground trainer. In January 1982 it went to the RAF Museum at Cosford as part of their airliner collection was but scrapped in 2006 with only the nose section now surviving. It is on display at the Scottish National Museum of Flight.

This Komet was fortunately captured intact when Husum airfield in Schleswig-Holstein was overrun by Allied troops towards the end of WWII. It was transported to the College of Aeronautics at Cranfield in 1947 for evaluation and subsequently donated to the National Museum of Flight, East Fortune where it is now on display.

This classic old Beech 18 was operated by Loganair at Glasgow Airport for many years and I remember it very well from the 1970's. It now resides at the East Fortune Museum. (scanned from a Print)

This famous type was the RAF standard basic trainer prior to and during WWII. This particular aircraft was once owned by the famous British comedian of the 60s & 70s, Dick Emery. It has recently received a new coat of paint and is on display at the super National Museum of Flight at East Fortune.
