In the markings of the 3rd Air Commando Group, 4th Fighter Squadron, Philippines, 1945

Fighter Squadron 111 (VF-111), USS Kitty Hawk, 1979. Made famous by the movie "Top Gun," the F-14 Tomcat is the last of Grumman's "Cat" series of Naval fighters which began with the F4F Wildcat in the 1930s. Tomcats entered service on the USS Enterprise in 1974, and flew some of the last American combat missions over Vietnam while providing air cover over Saigon during the American evacuation in April 1975. The Tomcat was retired from service in the U.S. Navy in 2006.

The USAF Thunderbirds team flew the Phantom for only a short period. In this livery it was flown from Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada in 1973

The U. S. Army selected the Sikorsky Choctaw in 1955 as a medium lift cargo and troop transport. Built as the CH-34A between 1955 and February of 1959 there were 426 Choctaws delivered to the Army. Others were delivered to the United States Air Force and Navy. Beginning in 1958 the Choctaw was upgraded to CH-34C standards with the installation of auto-stabilization systems to allow all-weather operations. Also beginning in 1958 several Choctaws were converted to VIP transports for use by the Executive Flight Detachment and provided helicopter transport for the President until the end of 1964

Flew again in 1995 as N548GF from Tucson to Camarillo, California. Joined the airshow circuit until corrosion grounded it in 2000. Ferried to Chino, California, in January 2012.

Delivered to USAF 10.55 as an EC-121D. Later EC-121T. Retired from &( AEW & CS Homestead AFB Florida by 08.74.. Stored at DM and later passed to the Pima Museum.

Sored in the then unopened Pima Museum. The aircraft has since been transferred to the museum at Wright-Patterson AFB and is displayed there marked as '50-1054'.

Ex 48-636. This airframe widely quoted as 2520, but that is in error. C-125 c/n 2512 was never built, which means that USAF C-125 batch 48-628 to 48-640 are c/n 2513 to 2525, not c/n 2512 to 2524 as previously thought. So 48-636/XB-GEY is in fact c/n 2521.

HB-ILY was used on relief flights into Biafra in 1969-70 for the Red Cross. The fin is from another aircraft, 52-2759, scrapped at Davis-Monthan. While this is also sometimes listed as operated by Balair, the Red Crioss contractor, it was not one of the nine C-97s that were allocated Swiss registrations for the Biafra airlift.
