The US Navy designated their B-25's as PBJ's. This TB-25N was painted up as a US Navy PBJ-1D, but it is in fact TB-25N 44-29035 which never served with the Navy.

Big and ugly airplane!

First aircraft to land at the South Pole on 31 October 1956 when operated by VX-6 Squadron U.S. Navy. Displayed in the open air section of the Pensacola Museum tetaining its wheeled ski landing gear.

The FJ-1 Fury was the first jet fighter to go to sea operationally. 33 were built and the type served with US Navy VF-51 Squadron aboard the USS Boxer from 1948. This example has been repainted in the midnite blue colours of its period and is now displayed indoors at the Pensacola museum.

In October 1963 this anonymous looking C-130 accomplished the amazing feat of performing 29 touch and go's, 21 unarrested full stop landings and 21 unassisted takeoffs from the aircraft carrier USS Forestal (CV-59). While these tests proved it could be done, no other C-130 has ever landed on an aircraft carrier.

"Fat Albert" is looking a little faded in retirement. This aircraft thrilled airshow crowds from 1991 to 2002 with its spectacular JATO assisted takeoffs.
