Returned 1977 and leased again 1978. Leased to Guernsey Airlines 1979, retuned 1980. Renamed Inter CIty Airlines 1981, Janus Airways 1983. MMM Aero Service 9Q-CAH 1984, repainted and flown to Ostend. Never flew again and scrapped 1989.

To Air Inter as F-BGNS on 36 Jun 1954. To Starways as G-ARIR on 03 Feb 1961. Back to Air Inter as F-BLHI on 19 Nov 1963. To Alidair on 04 Jun 1975. Reregistered back to G-ARIR on 26 Nov 1975. Leased to Dan-Air Dec 1975 to Jun 1977 and Apr 1978 to 30 Apr 79. Leased to Guernsey Airlines 02 Nov to Dec 1979. Noted as Inter City Airlines in 1981. To Janus Airways on 30 Dec 1983. To MMM Aero Services as 9Q-CAH on 22Nov 1984 however WFU and stored at OST in Nov 1984. Broken up in Dec 1988. G-BRED Redcoat Air Cargo CL-44 is in the back ground along with the old Luton Airport ATC tower.

Ex G-14-3068. Re-registered as G-OGIL on 23 January 1989. Cancelled on 12 November 1992 as permanently withdrawn from use following damage sustained in a ground collision with Shorts 330 G-BIFH. It is now preserved at North East Aircraft Museum, Usworth.

Overshooting Prestwick's then Runway 13. Built by Short Brothers and Harland, Belfast. Given the short transit time, approaches at Prestwick were often used by the manufacturer for test and training flights. Leased to Inter City Airlines in April 1981. Re-registered G-OGIL in 1989. Damaged beyond repair in a taxi-ing collision at Newcastle in 1992. Gill Air bought it from the insurers for spares. Remains later preserved at the North East Aircraft Museum, Sunderland.

Note the yellow tail cols as opposed to the white tail cols in the other photos of it as Inter-City Airlines.

Believed to have been operated by BAF, as Inter City had recently ceased operations. This aircraft made its first flight on 26th August 1953, exactly 30 years prior to the date that this photo was taken.

First registered F-BGNN with Air France in 1953 and lived for 34 years till scrapped in Zaire. Inter-City was the new name for Alidair from 1981
