slide scan from the NK collection. - Air Commerz was a short-lived german charter airline, and between 1970 and 1972 two Vickers Viscounts and two Boeing 707s were operated. This Boeing survived with many further operators until 1998, when an arsonist destroyed its cockpit while being parked at Port Harcourt. Last registration was N138SR.

This Viscount was a very rare visitor to the UK during its short time with this German company, but previously a common one as EI-AKL with Aer Lingus, first being delivered in 3.59. To D-ADAM 3.70 but repossessed a few weeks after this shot and stored at Dublin until bought by the Sultan of Oman's AF. Later to Scibe as 9Q-CBS and MMM as 9Q-CAN.
