Here sharing the apron with a BEA Viscount and Dakota, this was the second period Starways owned the aircraft from October 1956 to December 1963. Seen at Heathrow (EGLL) in 1962 with this eye-catching yellow and blue livery. Last assignment was as a pollution control aircraft with Air Atlantique at Coventry, after which it was retired in 2001 and preserved with false serial FZ626 at RAF Lyneham.

This ex RAF Dakota 4 served Starways of Liverpool between March 1952 and sale in 1964. It has just brought a load of Manchester City football supporters back from RAF Bovingdon after attending the 1955 FA Cup Final.

1944-built Dragon Rapide. Served Starways based at Liverpool (Speke) between April 1951 and May 1953.

Delivered new to Aer Lingus as EI-AFV in March 1954. To Tradair as G-APZB in February 1960. Operated by Starways of Liverpool from November 1962 until January 1964.

Operated by Starways on lease from Captain J. Green. Ex RAF TJ351. On a charter flight from Croydon and on to Speke. Sold to France for spares in July 1951.

Ex KN442. Newly delivered from 12 MU to Speke for Starways, still wearing deleted RAF roundels and fin flash. Overhauled and sold in early 1953 to the first of a subsequent myriad of European airlines. Still extant.
