On static display at a Prestwick Flying Club Fly-in, carrying "Test and Development" titles and Scottish Aviation's winged lion logo. It was the prototype Bulldog, first flying in May 1969 at Shoreham, and the only one built by Beagle Aircraft before the company failed later that year. Design authority was transferred to Scottish Aviation at Prestwick where Bulldog production was initiated, with G-AXEH being adopted as a company demonstrator. Now preserved at Scotland's National Museum of Flight at East Fortune.

G-ASAL was Scottish Aviation Limited's company demonstrator aircraft for its successful line of Bulldog military trainers, originally designed by Beagle Aircraft, and was also used for weapons trials. It carries the badges of a number of air forces which had become customers for the Bulldog. Scottish Aviation was one of the aircraft manufacturing companies which merged to form British Aerospace 1977. After many years flying in blue and white colours, the aircraft has just recently been repainted into these original colours by its current owners at Prestwick.

It looks like these three four-engined Fokkers are identical but there was only one F.XXXVI (F.36, up to 36 passengers), and G-AFZP and G-AFXR, behind, are of the downsized F.XXII (F.22, 22 pax) variety. Having replaced them with DC-3s, KLM sold these three aircraft to Scottish Aviation at Prestwick in August 1939 for military service as navigation trainers, their unit becoming No 1 Air Observer and Navigation School on 1 November. The F.XXXVI crashed on 21 May 1940 on take-off from Prestwick. Military serial HM161 does not seem to be worn. Photo from: Imperial War Museums

This ex RAF Dakota served Scottish Airlines from January 1947 until sale as SX-BBD in February 1948. In summer 1947 it was leased to COBETA of Brussels, but retaining Scottish Aviation full colours. It is on the schedule to Melsbroek from Ringway. The 1938 control tower still shows marks of neglect during WW2. '02' indicates the runway in use to pilots of non-radio aircraft.
