This DC-9 has always been a frieght-hauler as it was delivered to Alitalia Cargo System as I-DIKF in I-DIKF May 1968. It moved on to Evergreen in October 1981 and then USA Jet Airlines in June 2000. it is pictured here being towed to a hangar for a little TLC.
This was delivered to Avianca as EI-CEQ (GPA Group aircraft) in May1992. It went to Ameristar in December, but, unfortunately, it was w/o on 8th March, 2017 during an aborted take-off at YIP when it overran the runway by 350m, hit approach lighting and the perimeter fence, slid over a road and a ditch before coming to a stop. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.
Ex USAF 52-994, registered to the Detroit Institute of Aeronautics as N86599 in June 1973, and seen here still in its Georgia ANG markings. On 9 Oct 1986 it was flown from there to McChord Air Force Base, Washington, where it was placed on static display. This was the last flight of a C-124 worldwide.
This Pencil Jet was delivered to American Eagle as N715AE in May 2000 and then stored in November 2009 at Kingman (KIGM). It was rescued from the axeman in August 2013 and is pictured here during a stop over at Willow Run.
This mad Dog flew with Alaska from December 1990 until storage at VCV in January 2008. It went to USA Jet Airlines in December 2010 and, although it didn't look too healthy here in 2015, is still listed as stored.
