Delivered to US Navy as SNB-2C BuNo 23835 in 1944 and modified later to SNB-3 and SNB-5. Rebuilt commenced in 1971 at Tucson as Hamilton Turboliner c/n W0311, but finished as the only Westwind IISTD - the longest ever Beech 18 mod with 9' 10" fuselage stretch for 17 pax and Garrett TPE 331-6-251M turbines. Completed in 1974 and to Kalitta as N231LJ next year. Derelict at Willow Run by 2001 and sold at auction for $2500, towed by road to Janesville, WI.
