With C-GJKT 49 at Abbotsford, being prepared for the next Fight...

Delivered new in July 1958 and sold to Wardair in May 1962 (seen as such at Heathrow on 4 Aug '62), then passed to Pacific Western and NWT Air. It was exported as N646DG in 1979 and its busy career continued with conversion to sprayer as C-GBZC in 1983, lease to Secuité Civile as F-ZBAP in 1985 and restoration as fire bomber C-FCZZ with Conair in 1988. In 2023 it is flying freight as N9056R out of Fairbanks/AK.

Still in service as it approaches its 64th birthday.

Built for Canadian Pacific Air Lines in 1958 and here with NWT Air, but displaying its previously acquired Pacific Western fuselage stripe. Later converted to a budworm sprayer as C-GBZC with Conifair then restored as C-FCZZ with Conair and converted for water dropping. Current in 2021 as cargo carrier N9056R in Alaska.

Originally CF-CZZ with Canadian Pacific Air Lines. Also operated with Jet Way as N555JW before joining Conifair in Apr 83. It wasn't with Conifair very long going to the Securite Civile (France) in 1985 as F-ZBAP. Then it was back to Canada with Conair May 88 as C-FCZZ. Last operated by Everts Air (Alaska) as N9056R and seen stored at Fairbanks (AK) in Sep 2005.

former Conair Canada Tanker 52, ex C-FCZZ, later joined the operational fleet of Everts. Cool to see this airplane actually fly on my subsequent trip up north.

Jetway Aviation

This aircraft, seen here at the start of its takeoff run on runway 14, joined the Everts fleet in August 2000. It was originally delivered to Canadian Pacific way back in July 1958 as CF-CZZ. It later served as a sprayer with Conifair (C-GBZC) in the mid 1980s and even saw some service as an airtanker with France's Sécurité Civile from 1986 to 1988 as F-ZBAP (Tanker 65). Its last former owner was Conair (C-FCZZ, Tanker 52). By 2017 it still served faithfully with Everts.
